Old King Coal

This commissioned piece of based on a game character from Banjo Tooie named Old King Coal. I was given the task of modifying the characters teeth to be rounded instead of the square teeth he originally has. I personally love modifying basic character designs to fit the need of others (there’s always a fun back story to modifications that make it oh so worth it).

This design is 100% my own as I had to problem solve character sizing, how to aim the hands on an angle and many trial and errors with the legs/feet. The end result was worth the many hours of failed and successful attempts!
